Swamp Trash Band writes, records and performs their original material which they refer to as "Neo-Retro-Rock"  It's a tongue in cheek way to describe their music which, while new, sounds like it could have been written in the 60's and 70's.  The added twist is that the members of Swamp Trash Band could have actually played this music in the 60's and 70's (as they are all on the downhill side of 50).

Not only does Swamp Trash Band write and play original music, they also play selected cover songs at their shows.  It’s not by chance that they play the covers they do. The formula for selection is what feels good to them as musicians, presents a new challenge and falls in line with the seamless experience they wish to share with a group of people that appreciate the Neo-Retro-Rock sound. Artists such as The Allman Brothers Band, Frank Zappa, Led Zeppelin, and The Beatles have provided them with music that are some of the overall crowd favorites.
